The active ingredient ibuprofen relieves pain and inflammation of various origins, especially in musculoskeletal diseases, because it prevents the formation of so-called prostaglandins, which are responsible for the occurrence of pain and inflammation, and also reduces fever.
When to use:

- Painful menstruation
- Muscle and joint pain accompanying influenza-like illnesses
- Injuries such as bruises and sprains
- Feverish conditions
Dosage

Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age usually take 1 tablet 3 times a day for feverish illnesses. For pain, take 1 tablet once or as needed, but no more than 3 times a day (can be repeated after 4-6 hours). Do not exceed the total daily dose of 1200 mg (3 tablets per day). Higher doses are administered for inflammatory forms.
Children aged 6-12 years are usually given 20-35 mg ibuprofen per kg body weight per day, which corresponds to a dosage of 1/2 tablet 2-3 times a day with an interval of 6-8 hours between doses. For children weighing up to 30 kg, do not exceed a dose of 400 mg per day.
If pain or fever does not subside and persists for more than 3 days (for fever) and more than 5 days (for pain), consult a doctor for further action. It is not recommended to use it for more than 7 days without consulting a doctor. In children and adolescents, Ibumax should not be used for more than 3 days without a doctor's recommendation.
