The active substance of Ibumax 200 mg is ibuprofen, which relieves pain and inflammation of various origins, especially in musculoskeletal diseases, and also reduces fever. Ibumax 200 mg is used for mild to moderate pain and fever in adults and children from 6 years of age.
Ibumax 200 mg helps with:
- headaches
- back pain
- menstrual pain
- toothache
- muscle and joint pain accompanying flu-like illnesses
- musculoskeletal injuries such as bruises and sprains
- fever
Dosage
Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age usually take 1-2 tablets 3-4 times a day for feverish illnesses and pain, but no more than 6 tablets a day divided into several doses. The interval between individual doses should be at least 4 hours. Children aged 6-12 years should be given 1 film-coated tablet 2-3 times a day for feverish illnesses and pain. For children weighing up to 30 kg, do not exceed the dose of 2 tablets a day. The interval between individual doses should be 6-8 hours.
If pain or fever does not subside during treatment with Ibumax 200 mg or persists for more than 3 days, consult a doctor for further action. Do not take the medicine for more than 7 days (3 days for children and adolescents) without consulting a doctor.
Composition
The active substance is ibuprofen 200 mg in one film-coated tablet.
The excipients are microcrystalline cellulose, hypromellose, pregelatinized corn starch, colloidal anhydrous silica, stearic acid 50%, magnesium stearate, sodium lauryl sulfate, Opadry OY-S-28703 white coating system [composition: polydextrose, hypromellose 2910, titanium dioxide (E171), macrogol 4000].
