Tantum Verde solution is effective in treating inflammation associated with sore and throat pain in adults, adolescents and children from 6 years. When the product is applied directly to the inflamed tissue, the effect occurs in a short time and the pain subsides. The solution is used for gargling, for rinsing the oral cavity, or for wiping the mouth - to combat the affected areas (it is possible for children from 4 years of age). Tantum Verde solution should not be used during breast-feeding and during pregnancy only after consulting your doctor.
When is it used:
- to treat inflammation and swelling in the mouth and pharynx
- gum inflammation
- in periodontitis
- tonsillitis, aphtha , etc.
- suitable during treatment after tooth treatment
Dosage
Adults and children from 6 years gargle or rinse the mouth with a solution for at least half a minute to 6 times a day at intervals of 1.5 to 3 hours. Always use 10 to 15 ml (ie 1 to 2 tablespoons) of the undiluted solution after meals. In children from 4 years of age, the affected area may be coated with a solution wipe. If the symptoms do not resolve or diminish within 7 days or the condition worsens, consult a doctor. Do not take the medicine for more than 14 days without consulting your doctor.
Ingredients
The active substance is benzydamine hydrochloride (1.5 mg in 1 ml solution).
The other ingredients are ethanol 96%, glycerol, methyl paraben (E 218), peppermint flavor, saccharin, sodium bicarbonate, polysorbate 20, quinoline yellow (E 104), patent blue V (E 131), purified water.
Notice
Tantum Verde gargle contains small amounts of alcohol (9.6% ethanol by volume) and methylparaben, which may cause allergic reactions (probably delayed).
