Pavo E'lyte is a supplement to electrolytes and contains all the necessary body minerals, in their right proportions.
Their ratio is particularly important for proper replenishment of electrolytes. Pavo E'lyte contains more magnesium because horses also lose this mineral when they sweat. The role of magnesium in physical processes should not be underestimated. Many other electrolytes do not contain magnesium at all, or only the very minimum of this substance. This product does not contain wheat-based products and is therefore also suitable for a gluten-free diet
Re-replenishment of electrolyte during the summer and winter
Horses don't just sweat in the summer when it's hot. In winter, it may also be necessary to replenish electrolytes after a very demanding workout or race. When shearing horses, as a result of which the sweat dries faster, it may seem as if they are not sweating so much. Make sure these horses have enough electrolytes. Inertia is a significant sign of their deficit.
Tips for feeding Pavo E'lyte
Horses often have to get used to the taste of electrolytes. You start with a small amount and increase the dose slowly. Add Pavo E'lyte to the ration. It can help picky eaters to add apple puree or apple juice. Alternatively, you can give them electrolytes mixed with apple puree using an empty and clean deworming tube.
