Description
Pancreolan forte contains digestive enzymes whose formation and release are due to pancreatic disease, therefore a long-term enzymatic replacement is required. This treatment does not eliminate the causes of the disease, but restores digestion (removes nausea, feeling of fullness, bloating, flatulence, diarrhea and fat in the stool).
Pancreolan forte is used in digestive disorders due to insufficient or absent function of the pancreatic digestive enzymes, inflammatory and other pancreatic diseases and in post-gastrointestinal disorders.
The product improves digestion in diarrhea problems (such as overeating or ingesting hard-to-digest, fatty foods) and eliminates secondary manifestations of indigestion such as fullness, bloating, flatulence or excessive fat in the stool. It improves digestion by splitting fats, sugars, and proteins in the intake. In these cases, the product can be taken without the advice of a doctor.
The product is suitable for the treatment of children from 3 years of age, adolescents and adults.

Dosage and use
Dosage is individual, depending on the severity of the disease; The goal of treatment is to achieve normal weight and stool and digestive problems.
In the treatment of diarrhea problems, 2 enteric-coated tablets are administered either once or for short (1-3 days) after a small meal, 3-4 enteric-coated tablets after a larger meal.
For pancreatic insufficiency, 2 gastro-resistant tablets are taken after a lighter meal, 3-4 gastro-resistant tablets after a larger meal. Depending on the type of food and known or suspected digestive problems, the dose may be increased after consultation and under the supervision of a physician.

Always give children the medicine on the advice of a doctor! Children 3 years and older usually take 1 enteric tablet 3 times a day. Children from 3 years of age may swallow the tablets.

Composition
Pancreolan forte contains 220 mg of pancreatin in 1 gastro-resistant tablet with an amylolytic activity of at least 6,000 U FIP, a lipolytic potency of at least 6,000 U, a FIP and a proteolytic potency of at least 400 U FIP.
The other ingredients are lactose monohydrate, corn starch, sucrose, sodium starch glycolate, gelatin, aluminum stearate, sodium lauryl sulphate, simethicone emulsion SE 4, triethyl citrate, Acryl-Eze coating system 93A220023 (1: 1 MA / EA copolymer) , talc, riboflavin, titanium dioxide, colloidal anhydrous silica, sodium bicarbonate, sodium lauryl sulfate, FCF brilliant blue E133).
