The use of Nurofen for children suppositories 60 mg is recommended in cases where oral (mouth) administration of the drug is not appropriate, for example if the patient is vomiting.
Dosage
6-8 kg (3 to 9 months) 1 suppository, next at least after 6-8 hours, no more than 3 suppositories in 24 hours. 8-12.5 kg (9 months to 2 years) 1 suppository, next at least after 6 hours, no more than 4 suppositories in 24 hours. The suppositories are inserted into the rectum with the tip first.
Intended for short-term use. If this medicine needs to be given to children from 6 months of age for more than 3 days (24 hours for infants 3-5 months of age) or if symptoms worsen, a doctor should be consulted.
Composition
Ibuprofen 60 mg in 1 suppository. The excipient is hardened fat.
Notice
Not suitable for newborns weighing less than 6 kg (under 3 months of age).
