Guajacuran is used to facilitate coughing during swelling and to relieve skeletal muscle tension, including increased neck muscle tension. The product is intended for adults, adolescents and children from 6 years of age. In children from 6 to 12 years of age, the product is used only on the recommendation of a doctor.
The active substance in Guajacuran is guaifenesin.
The pack contains 50 film-coated tablets.
Dosage and method of use
Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age usually take 1 tablet 3-5 times a day, in exceptional cases 2 tablets. The maximum daily dose is 2,400 mg (12 tablets).
Children aged 6-12 years are given 1 tablet 2-3 times a day.
Ingredients
The active substance is Guaifenesin 200 mg in 1 tablet.
The other ingredients are lactose, maize starch, sucrose, talc, sodium carboxymethyl starch, gelatin, aluminum tristearate, colloidal anhydrous silica, glycerol, titanium dioxide, carmellose sodium, emerald green, white and carnauba wax, acacia.
Contraindication
It is not suitable for use during pregnancy and lactation. Not suitable for children under 6 years. It is only given to children over 6 years of age on the doctor's recommendation.
