Dosage

Apply 3-6 ml per kilogram of animal weight, i.e. 6-12 pump strokes per kg. The minimum interval between treatments is 4 weeks. When used as part of a flea allergy treatment strategy, monthly applications are recommended for allergy sufferers and other dogs and cats in the household.

Use

Spray the entire body surface of the animal from a distance of 10-20 cm. Spray against the direction of hair growth and ensure that all hair is wet. Comb the hair of long-haired breeds so that the product can penetrate the skin of the animal. For treatment of the head and around the eyes and when treating young or restless animals, spray the product onto the palm of a gloved hand and rub gently into the hair. Allow the product to dry at normal temperature conditions. Do not dry by wiping with a towel. The product contains a coating component that will create a film on the hair, making the hair shiny. Bathing and shampooing of animals is recommended two days before and after treatment with this product.

Prevent transmission of infection

To prevent the spread of the disease, treat all dogs and cats in the household and also pay attention to their bedding.

Composition

1 ml contains: Fipronil 2.5 mg. Excipients: Copovidone, isopropyl alcohol, purified water.

Notice

Do not apply to sick or convalescent animals. Do not use in rabbits due to the risk of adverse reactions up to death. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Not intended for food-producing animals. Fipronil may adversely affect aquatic organisms. Do not allow dogs to swim in watercourses for 2 days after treatment.

Special precautions for use in animals: Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Avoid contact with the animal's eyes. In case of accidental contact with the animal's eyes, rinse the eyes immediately with running water and seek veterinary advice. Do not apply directly to broken skin. Leave the treated animal to dry in a well-ventilated room. Do not confine animals to a closed area or transport box until the coat is completely dry. Due to the lack of data on specific tolerance and efficacy, the product is not recommended for the treatment of animal species other than dogs and cats. It is important to ensure that the animals do not lick each other after application. Individual ticks may attach. Therefore, in adverse conditions, the transmission of infectious diseases cannot be completely ruled out. Keep the treated animal away from fire or other sources of heat and other surfaces that could be damaged by the alcohol from the spray for at least 30 minutes after application and until the coat is completely dry. Do not apply near open flames or other flammable materials. For external use only.

Special precautions for persons administering the veterinary medicinal product to animals: This product may cause irritation of the mucous membranes and eyes. Therefore, avoid contact of the product with the mouth and eyes. In case of accidental eye contact, carefully rinse the eye with clean water. People with known hypersensitivity to the active substance or alcohol, or with asthma, should avoid contact with the product. Avoid contact of the product with fingers. In case of splashes, wash hands with soap and water. Do not handle treated animals and prevent children from playing with them until the applied product has dried. It is therefore recommended to treat animals not during the day, but in the early evening, and not to allow freshly treated animals to sleep with their owners, especially children. Apply the product to animals outdoors or in a well-ventilated room. Do not inhale the spray. Do not smoke, drink or eat during application. Wear PVC or nitrile gloves when treating animals. It is recommended to wear a waterproof apron to protect clothing during application. If clothing becomes heavily soaked with the product, remove it and wash it before re-use. Discard gloves after use and wash hands with soap and water. Wash exposed skin immediately with soap and water. If irritation occurs, seek medical attention. People with known hypersensitivity or asthma may be particularly sensitive to this product. Do not use the product if you have had an adverse reaction to it in the past.
