Place the tip of the tick remover as close to the skin as possible. With a slow, steady and firm pull, without twisting, pull the tick away from the skin.
Remove the tick as soon as possible to prevent infection with Lyme disease or tick-borne encephalitis. Contact your doctor/veterinarian if necessary or if you have signs of illness.
